Blake Coleman's disallowed goal in Game 5 remains one of the most hotly debated topic out there in the hockey world even days after the fact. There are many opinions on whether or not it was a "distinct kicking motion", but most seem to agree that with several worse examples being declared good goals, this was an extremely bad call - especially in an elimination game.

On Saturday, Coleman spoke out on the matter, admitting that he has watched the play on repeat too many times to count and had a very strong opinion on the play. Some may even interpret his words to mean that he doubts the competency of both the League and its on ice officials.

"I've seen it about 500 times now. My view on it is if it's that controversial there's nothing that distinct about it."

Coleman will have a long summer ahead to either dwell on this one, or fill his days with something more positive and try to just turn the page and move on. As much as this one stings, Coleman might be better served to just accept that the NHL dropped the ball and that there's nothing that can be done about it now.
