Brad Marchand had his 6 game suspension upheld by Gary Bettman today. Marchand has been serving 6 games for sucker punching Penguins goalie, Tristan Jarry. Today it was revealed what Jarry said that set Marchand off. The Pens netminder said "how about that f*cking save?" to Marchand.

For some reason, this set off Marchand. The 33-year-old winger is usually on other end of trash talk on the ice. Jarry and Marchand went at it for the entire game but Jarry got the last laugh with a subtle chirp that send the Halifax, Nova Scotia native off the deep end, resulting in his 6-game suspension.

It is objectively funny that one of hockey's best pests was sent over the edge by Jarry's comment. Whether you support Marchand's suspension or not, the Bruins superstar is missing time because of a minor comment.

The B's have struggled mightily in Marchy's absence, scoring just 4 goals in the 4 games he has missed. Unfortunately for Marchand and the Bruins, there will not be enough time to go through the second stage of the appeal process with an independent arbitrator. For obvious reasons, this is very upsetting for Bruins fans.
