I'm sure there is no love lost between Leafs Nation and Senators captain Brady Tkachuk, given the heated rivalry between the Leafs and Sens in the Battle of Ontario. While Leaf fans already know what Brady Tkachuk is about, now the rest of the league's fanbases got an up-close look at the 2nd generation agitator at this weekend's All-Star Game. One play in particular has drawn the ire of Devils fans - and rightfully so.

During the Atlantic Division All-Stars' game against the Metropolitan Division All-Stars, Tkachuk was working to get the inside track on Devils superstar Jack Hughes. Hughes, who was simply skating back to take his man and try to block a pass, found himself on the receiving end of a dangerous play from Tkachuk, who reached back and gave Hughes a hard tug on the collar, sending him falling backward with one of his legs partially underneath him.

During a fun exhibition like the All-Star Game, there is simply no room for plays like this. Not only could Tkachuk have blown out Hughes' knee, but he could have caused a concussion as well, had Hughes' head bounced off the ice.

I know it sounds silly, but if Player Safety took a look at this one and issued a fine, I'd say it was entirely justified. Reckless and dangerous play by Brady.. especially at an All-Star Game. That's reprehensible behaviour.
