While training camps proceed across the NHL, at least one Atlantic Division team is facing the possibility of delays and/or cancellations as Hurricane Ian prepares to touch down on the East coast.

Per Lightning Insider, the Tampa Bay Lightning could be facing camp disruptions, as Amalie Arena and the Marriott Waterside both reside within "Evacuation Zone A" in Hills County. Several Bolts players who are in town for camp are staying at the Marriott Waterside and will need to be relocated for safety purposes.

The Bolts have two preseason games scheduled to take place in Tampa on Wednesday and Thursday, but at this point, it seems like a foregone conclusion that those games will not be happening - at least not in Florida. There is some talk that perhaps camp could resume in Nashville.

We saw first hand the magnitude of the damage that a hurricane can do after Hurricane Fiona touched down on Canada's East coast this past week, washing away homes, destroying communities and ruining lives. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who was impacted by Fiona and who might be impacted by Ian this week.
