Bruins fans are spoiled to an embarrassing degree when it comes to goalies over the past two decades. They traded away a Calder Trophy winner in Andrew Raycroft, picked up a nobody in Tim Thomas who immediately lead them to a Stanley Cup and won the Conn Smythe. When Thomas left, Tuukka Rask, whom they traded Raycroft for, took over the net and was incredible for the next 14 seasons. When Rask's time was up, Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark arrived to take home both the Jennings and Vezina trophies in a record-breaking season for the B's. Now, yet another Bruins netminder has become the center of attention after making an astounding save in pre-season action.

Brandon Bussi, a 6'4, 25-year-old undrafted netminder is currently on a 1 year ELC with the Bruins. In pre-season action against the New York Rangers on Sunday, Bussi stopped every puck that came his way, including an early save of the year candidate. A one-timer from Rangers center Jonny Brodzinski appeared to be destined to find the back of a wide open net before Bussi pulled off a stretch that would have torn every ligament in my body to get his glove on it mere inches before the puck crossed the line.

I mean seriously, how?

This is one that I'm sure Bussi's family and friends will remember for a long time. It may also end up being a save that he tells his kids about one day, though they'll probably roll their eyes and say "sure you did, dad...".
