Bruins' underwhelming 100th anniversary jerseys leaked
For the Boston Bruins, this summer was less than ideal, having lost a number of impact players to trade, free agency and retirement. Now, to add insult to injury, the team's 100th anniversary jersey has been leaked ahead of the official reveal.
Per icethetics on Twitter/X, these 100th anniversary jerseys leaked well ahead of when the team had intended to reveal them. Here's how the jerseys look, per the Adidas website:
The jersey designs are simple and underwhelming, though from a Leafs fan perspective, I don't know I'll ever look at a Bruins jersey and think it looks sharp. I get the whole idea that a 100th anniversary jersey should be a clean, simple design with throwback accents, but I'm just not blown away by what the Bruins did with this one.
