The Tampa Bay Lightning are back at it on Saturday, taking part in a morning skate to prepare themselves for a very important Game 3, which is set to take place on Sunday afternoon, but they were missing several key players this morning.

Brayden Point has yet to return for Tampa after suffering a very unfortunate injury in Game 7 against the Leafs in round one. Brandon Hagel, who was acquired at the deadline, was also not on the ice on Saturday after blocking a shot with his foot in Game 2 on Thursday, though his absence on Saturday is listed as a maintenance day.

The other key absence was that of Corey Perry, who suffered an unfortunate injury on Thursday during pre-game warmups when he shot a puck that ricocheted off the crossbar and clipped him in the face, cutting him open prior to the start of Game 2.

Perry did get patched up and went on to not only play in the game, but scored the game's opening goal for the Lightning en route to a 2-1 victory and a 2-0 series lead heading back to Tampa for Games 3 and 4. It's likely that Perry is just on a maintenance day as well.
