David Pastrnak lays out Pierre-Luc Dubois at the World Championships
During Canada's 6-1 rout of Czechia in the IIHF World Hockey Championship Semifinal, Pierre Luc Dubois decided he needed to take a run at Czechia's David Pastrnak. Pastrnak saw the hit coming, and was lucky he did. Dubois came in with a high hit that would have caught Pasta in the head, but the Bruin's star ducked under the hit.
Dubois hit the boards and fell down, but grabbed Pastrnak's stick as he fell. Pastrnak decided to give Dubois a little bit of "the business" on his way to retrieve his stick.
Pastrnak was given a 2 minute minor for interference. Adam Lowry would score on the ensuing power play.
