Erik Karlsson fires a shot at the Ottawa Senators to Jason Spezza
Last weekend, the Pittsburgh Penguins pulled off a blockbuster trade, acquiring Erik Karlsson from the San Jose Sharks. The reigning Norris Trophy winner was quick to visit Pittsburgh to check out his new surroundings and in doing so met up with former Ottawa teammate, ex-Leaf and current Pens executive, Jason Spezza.
Spezza showed Karlsson the Pens' locker room and gym among the other facilities before taking him up to meet Kyle Dubas. On their way up, the two stopped and posed for a picture before Karlsson fired a shot at their old team Ottawa.
"These Pittsburgh f***s always kicked our asses, it'll be fun being on the other side," said Karlsson
The comment got a classic Spezza laugh as well as an outburst from Karlsson himself. However, with the development of the Sens since Karlsson's departure, it could very well be the opposite this time around, with the 33-year-old being on the receiving end of a beating once again.
