Evander Kane tries to gouge Alex Edler's eye during scrum, gets a game misconduct
Evander Kane can't go a week without having his name in the headlines, and once again, Kane's name is being brought up on Monday. At least it's for a hockey-related reason this time.
During the third period of Sunday's Oilers/Kings game, with the Kings routing the Oilers, Evander Kane decided to mix it up after the whistle with Kings defenseman Alex Edler. During the scrum, Kane appears to try to gouge the eye of Edler.
Edler didn't seem overly bothered by it, perhaps because Kane missed on his attempt, but nevertheless, both players were issued roughing penalties and Kane was given a game misconduct as well.
