Sports tattoos are not exactly uncommon. Fans tend to have no issues with wearing a team logo tattoo, a championship tattoo or even their favourite player's jersey number on their body permanently. However, there are also some fans who go a bit overboard.

Following the Vegas Golden Knights' Stanley Cup victory this summer, one fan decided to get a tattoo of Phil Kessel's face atop crossed hockey sticks and a banner that says "Philthy Phil". Have a look at this beauty..

I'm all for tattoos - I have a number of them myself. However, I'd draw the line at something like this, personally. Aside from being a conversation starter, this fan must wear this tattoo for life. Tattoos are permanent, if you're not in a position to be able to pay the outlandish fees for tattoo removal.

Obviously, his body, his life. However, we all know that there are good tattoos and there are bad tattoos. Perhaps this fan should have shelled out the cash to see a premier artist rather than his local walk-in tattoo shop. Imagine going swimming when you're 50 and having to explain that piece to someone.
