The St. Louis Blues, fresh off of their 2nd round elimination at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche, have announced on Wednesday that they have signed defenseman Calle Rosen to a 2-year extension.

Rosen's new deal is a two-way deal, meaning that his salary will vary depending on where he plays. According to The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta, Rosen is slated to earn $750,000 at the NHL level or $400,000 at the AHL level in 2022-23, with a slightly higher salary in 2023-24 at $775,000/$450,000.

Rosen, 28, was an undrafted defender who came over to North America as a free agent during the 2017-18 season. The Vaxjo, Sweden native spent two seasons in Toronto before being dealt to the Colorado Avalanche in 2019. He was subsequently re-acquired by the Leafs in 2020. He inked a deal as a free agent with the Blues last summer.
