Former NHLer John Scott has moved on from hockey and entered the podcasting world. Scott is a character and has made some wild comments before, but some of his latest comments are raising a number of eyebrows.
McDavid is coming off of one of the best playoff performances in the history of the game, posting an astounding 33 points in just 16 postseason games during the Oilers' playoff run in 2021-22. My question for Scott would be, who are you picking over McDavid?
Granted, there are a number of excellent players who would make sense to build a playoff team around, but it's not exactly Connor McDavid's fault that Ken Holland hitched his wagon to Mike Smith, who is almost a senior citizen, and the ghost of Duncan Keith. The point is that Holland didn't really provide McDavid with a heck of a lot to work with.
