Golden Knights double-team Max Domi during fight
A wild scene in Columbus, Ohio during the first period of a meeting between the Columbus Blue Jackets and Vegas Golden Knights on Sunday evening.
During the late stages of the first period, Blue Jackets forward
Max Domi lands a big hit on
Alex Pietrangelo who didn't like it very much and after exchanging some words, Domi dropped his gloves and began teeing off on the big defenseman.
Nicholas Hague took exception to Domi going after Pietrangelo, who didn't even have his gloves off yet. Hague jumped Domi from behind, while Pietrangelo shook his gloves off and began swinging at Domi while he was tied up with the official. Pure chaos.
Domi thrives playing that type of game, and it worked to his benefit this time around, as the Golden Knights were assessed the extra penalty on the play, putting the Blue Jackets on the man advantage.
