Just a couple of short months after announcing his retirement from the National Football League, 7-time Super Bowl Champion Quarterback Tom Brady has announced that he will be coming out of retirement to play his 23rd season in the NFL.

Brady will reprise his role as QB1 for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, with whom he won a Super Bowl in 2020. On Sunday, Brady had this to say on social media.

"These past two months I've realized my place is still on the field and not in the stands. That time will come. But it's not now. I love my teammates, and I love my supportive family. They make it all possible. I'm coming back for my 23rd season in Tampa. Unfinished business LFG"

Brady, widely recognized as the GOAT, holds a wide range of NFL records, including:

Most NFL championships by player: 7

Most career passing yards: 84,520

Most career passing touchdowns: 624

Most career passing completions: 7,263

Longest touchdown pass: 99 yards (tied)
