Greedy woman steals puck from child during warmups
During a game between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Edmonton Oilers at the United Center in Chicago this past week, Oilers defenseman Duncan Keith made a child's day - but not before a woman almost ruined it.
During pre-game warm-ups, a young fan had gotten Keith's attention by enthusiastically banging on the glass to try to get a puck from the long-time Hawk. Keith tried to oblige him by tossing a puck over the glass, but the woman sitting next to him with sign saying "Love You Duncs" had snatched the puck away from the boy out of the air and refused to give it to him.
Thankfully, Keith saw the whole thing and looped around to grab another puck to toss to the young fan. This time, the man behind him made sure to snag the puck for him and pass it down to the young boy, who was absolutely elated.
I'll never, for the life of me, understand how an adult can actively steal a child's joy like that. Shame on the woman and kudos to Keith and the man behind the young fan for making sure his night was made.
