Habs forward Josh Anderson suspended for ugly hit on Alex Pietrangelo
During the Habs and Golden Knights game last night, Josh Anderson delivered a very dangerous hit to Alex Pietrangelo.
Thankfully Pietrangelo wasn't severely injured and joined in on the mugging of Anderson immediately after the hit. Anderson received a major for boarding at the time and had a hearing with NHL Player Safety today. Following his hearing, he was suspended for two games for his hit on Pietrangelo.
NHL Player Safety was busy Sunday as they also suspended Matthew Tkachuk for high sticking Jonathan Quick.
