Hurricanes fan pulls off the best troll job in NHL history on Devils star Jack Hughes
The playoffs bring out the best (or worst) in everyone, depending on which side of the battle you're on. For the players, it can mean a huge goal, a big hit, a fight or relentless on-ice chirping. For fans, all bets are off and there's nothing that isn't fair game, when it comes to trolling the visiting team.
Case in point, one Carolina Hurricanes fan pulled off the troll job of the century in Game 1 between the Hurricanes and Devils, involving a picture of Jack Hughes' mom. Now, before you let your imagination get the best of you, the fan superimposed a picture of Canes star Sebastian Aho's face on the body of a male sitting next to Jack Hughes' mom, suggesting that Aho is Hughes' daddy.
Bonus points for creativity here, as I have seen some creative signs in my time as a fan and a writer. This one takes the cake in my book. I'd say there's no way Hughes saw it, but it's posted up directly behind the Devils' bench and, judging by the Canes' blowout 5-1 win to take Game 1, I'd say the sign had its intended affect.
