Following the Leafs 4-1 win against the Detroit Red Wings last night in Toronto, Sheldon Keefe was quick to confirm a few things about his lineup for tonight's game in Philly on the second half of a back-to-back.

Keefe stated that while he doesn't want to tinker with the winning lineup too much, he would like to get Conor Timmins, Jordie Benn and/or Wayne Simmonds into the lineup. There are a few guys that are banged up and playing through nagging injuries so giving an extra days rest would go a long way.

Timmins hasn't played since December 31st in Colorado because of the return of Morgan Rielly, but in 11 games with the Leafs he has 8 assists so far this season and has been very noticeable on a nightly basis. Benn has been out of the lineup since December 27th, while Simmonds has not played December 10th. If there was a game that would be tailor-made for Simmonds to play in, it's tonight against his former Flyers, given what happened the last time these two teams met.

The Leafs flew in late last night, so it wouldn't be surprising if they don't skate today before the game so we may not see lineup changes until the pre-game skate. Hopefully we'll see Timmins, Benn or Simmonds draw back in - perhaps even all 3.
