Last night in a pre-season OHL game between former Leafs GM Kyle Dubas' alma mater Soo Greyhounds and the Sudbury Wolves, a line brawl broke out right before a face-off for a very unusual reason.

Wolves' centerman Landon McCallum was skating to the face-off dot and decided to rip the chain off of Greyhounds' forward Alex Kostov just before the draw. The 17-year-old Kostov shrugged his shoulders and looked around at the officials to see if someone was going to do something before taking matters into his own hands.

As the 20-year-old McCallum leans over to get set for the face-off, Kostov skated over and dropped McCallum with two punches before his Wolves teammates jumped in. Kostov then got engaged in another fight before McCallum got up and jumped on his back.

No supplemental discipline has been handed out as of this morning, but it would not be surprising to see a few suspensions for those involved, mainly McCallum and Kostov.
