With the William Nylander Saga finally sorted out, we can get back to the everyday normal. Right?

Here he is, Mr. Toronto leading the stretches at the end of practice. He is seen getting stick taps from his teammates, indicating many are happy with Willy staying put long-term.

Following a week-long California road trip, the Maple Leafs set up their practice lines and pairings for their first home game of 2024 on Monday, starting with the tandem you'd expect. Jones & Hildeby are holding the fort until further notice. Ryan Reaves continues to practice with the team in a grey scratch jersey. He was paired up with Nick Robertson, who also practiced in a grey scratch jersey, indicating that he'll also continue watching from the press box.

As for the lines and pairings at practice today, nothing new is in play for Keefe, who enjoyed the team effort in California and will likely continue to run with this squad if they keep at it. William Lagesson and Conor Timmins were practicing as the 4th pairing, while Simon Benoit continues to solidify the spot he's earned. Pontus Holmberg stays in Robertson's spot. Holmberg played a career high on Saturday logging 14:49 TOI. Bobby McMann also had himself a night Saturday logging 12:57 TOI, his new career high.

Now with contract negotiations out of the way and a strong California road trip in the books, can the Maple Leafs keep their foot on the gas and string up a nice win streak?
