Defensemen Ilya Lyubushkin and Justin Holl won't return to tonight's game for precautionary reasons according to Leafs PR. This is probably for the better given how chippy the end of the second was and likely the third will be.

Holl, in his first game without the full face shield, took a shot off the face/head midway through the second and left immediately, leaking blood.

Lyubushkin left the game after getting sucker punched by Taylor Hall in retaliation to a hit from Lyubushkin. Expect an entertaining third with lots of missed and questionable calls.

It will be interesting to see whether or not the League will take a look at Hall's sucker punch on an unsuspecting Lyubushkin, as not long ago, Brad Marchand was issued a 2-game suspension for suckered punching Pens goalie Tristan Jarry - though Marchand also earned suspensions for his history and for his high-stick as well, totalling 6 games.

With Holl and Lyubushkin unable to return, that leaves the Leafs with 4 defensemen to finish out the game. Oh and 1 goalie, as Mrazek left early in the first with an apparent groin injury.
