Early this afternoon, Sheldon Keefe announced that Dryden Hunt will need to wait a bit longer to make his debut with the Buds; now we know more about why the Leafs are taking their time. Keefe announced that even with Hunt more familiar with the team, he doesn't see a reason to disrupt his team's flow as they have been playing at a really high level.

Hunt doesn't bring a huge element of the offensive side to the game as he tends to be more of a physical/defensive-minded forward. In other words, I wouldn't expect to see any line changes until the team gives Keefe a reason to make those changes.

As the team heads into the second half of the season, having a good selection of depth forwards and defense will only bode for the team, being able to give some players rest and allowing others a chance to showcase their skills as we approach the trade deadline.
