Leafs players assemble to respond to the most ridiculous question of all time
In the age of the internet, it's much easier for a team's fanbase to catch a glimpse of what teams and players are like behind closed doors. For the Leafs, who are sponsored by TikTok, short video clips have become a lot more common over the last couple of seasons.
One of the main things the Leafs' social media team has been doing over the last season or two is asking players questions on the way to the practice rink at Ford Performance Centre. The questions are sometimes as simply as "what is your favourite show?" and as bizarre as "would you rather fight one horse-sized duck or 100 duck-sized horses?". The latest question, however, definitely takes the cake.
Before this morning's practice in Toronto, the players were asked: "How many chicken nuggets would it take to fill a goal crease?". Here's how your favourite Leafs answered the question.
My personal favourite section was when Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner stood there, eyeing up the crease, really trying to nail their projections. Some truly funny stuff here! By the way, the correct answer was 3,105 chicken nuggets.
