The Leafs are 2-0-0 to begin the season after a thrilling 6-5 shootout win over the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday and a 7-4 drubbing of the Minnesota Wild last night. The hope is that they're going to begin to settle in and tighten up defensively here as they look to shake off some early-season rust, but if they're not sharp on Monday, Bedard certainly has the skill to be able to do some real damage on the scoresheet.
At practice this morning, there was one noteworthy change to mention, as Sheldon Keefe appears to have liked what he had seen from both his second and third lines after swapping Calle Jarnkrok and Max Domi during last night's game. As a result, Max Domi appears to be shifting over to the right wing, drawing the assignment of taking care of the two rookies, Fraser Minten and Matthew Knies. Meanwhile, Jarnkrok will shift up to play with captain John Tavares and William Nylander.

We don't yet know whether it will be Ilya Samsonov or Joseph Woll drawing in for tomorrow's start, but with how much Samsonov has struggled early on, I'd imagine that Woll will probably get his first start of the season tomorrow, but we'll wait for confirmation on that.
