The Sarnia Sting have forced Game 6 against the Windsor Spitfires with a thrilling 3-2 OT victory on Saturday, with the game being won on the stick of Leafs prospect Ty Voit, who played the role of overtime hero with the Sting down 3-1 in the series. Boy, oh boy, what a sweet finish it was.

Voit has emerged as a highly skilled and dynamic young player this season after losing his entire 2020-21 season due to the pandemic. During the 2021-22 season, mere months after being drafted by the Leafs 153rd overall in the 5th round of the 2021 NHL Entry Draft, Voit put up 26 goals and 80 points in 67 games with the Sting. He also has 6 points through his team's first 5 playoff games.

If the Sting can find a way to secure the victory tonight at home in Sarnia and send the series back to Windsor, I suspect that Voit will play a big role in that.

With the victory on Saturday, the series is now 3-2 in favour of the Spitfires. If they hope to avoid a 3-1 series collapse, they'll have to find a way to keep Voit in check or run the risk of coming up short and facing an early exit.
