Today was the final day of Leafs' development camp after 5 days of drills, team building exercises and mini scrimmages. Today was a full, 5-on-5 scrimmage with players being split into white and blue squads.

At one point during the game, 2020 2nd round pick Roni Hirvonen, one of the prospects that has impressed most at camp, was cutting across the blueline with the puck and was caught with a MASSIVE open ice hit while looking down by defenseman Nolan Dillingham. The hit immediately knocked Hirvonen out cold.

Hirvonen laid on the ice motionless for a few minutes and was tended to by a Leafs trainer before finally being able to get up and skating off the ice with some help. Hopefully Hirvonen is okay. There have been no updates provided yet.
