Leafs release motivational video ahead of Saturday's series-ending Game 7
As Leafs fans, we're all very aware of the significance of "1967". Fans from rival markets and the hockey media will not let us forget. But when the puck drops tonight at Scotiabank Arena, maybe, just maybe, we'll get a little closer to making 2022 even more significant.
The Toronto Maple Leafs released an inspirational/motivational video on Saturday, just a couple of hours before puck drop of an all-important Game 7. The video contains blended videos of old and new Leafs and plenty of fan clips from several eras. You can check out the video below:
No matter what era of the Leafs that you grew up watching and idolizing, we all share the same passion and the same love for hockey and for the Leafs. We've all suffered through the ridicule, mediocrity and disappointment that comes with the longest active Stanley Cup drought. Hopefully tonight is the beginning of the next chapter and another step towards glory.
