Leafs reportedly ready to re-open team facilities, resume practicing
Per the Toronto Sun's Terry Koshan, the Toronto Maple Leafs are scheduled to be back on the ice on Sunday at Ford Performance Centre in Toronto for a 3:00 p.m. practice.
At this point, the list of participants is not known, but with as many as 10 Leafs regulars having been in COVID-19 protocol, the group who will take to the ice would be fairly small, I'd imagine.
The Leafs have not played a game since December 14th in Edmonton, but are coming off of back to back wins before games against Calgary, Vancouver, Seattle, St. Louis and Columbus had been postponed.
I would anticipate that the Leafs will provide an update on those who may be preparing to exit COVID protocol at some point either before or after practice on Sunday.
The Leafs don't play again until December 29th, when they are scheduled to play host to the Pittsburgh Penguins.
