The All-Star break may be over, but for the Leafs, the season won't resume until Friday's matchup against the Columbus Blue Jackets. In the interest of fun, reporters from the Athletic posed several questions to all of the Leafs players looking for insight into what goes on in the locker room. Our favourite question was "who is the best trash talker?" Surprisingly, there were multiple Leafs who came up in the various responses.

Even the most casual of Leafs fans already knows the answer for number one. It seems like every game the cameras catch Michael Bunting verbally abusing opponents.

We only have one (trash talker): Big Mike. But he only talks trash with the other team - Calle Jarnkrok

He's the one you hear the most - Timothy Liljegren

Now, even though Bunting clearly talks the most, he may not be the Leafs *best* trash talker.

Mikey likes to talk the most, but I don't know if he's very good at it - TJ Brodie

Brodie's comments aside, the reactions Bunting gets from opponents are clear proof that he is in fact the team's best trash talker. Interestingly, Mitch Marner's name came up almost as often as Bunting's

Mitchy is pretty good, but he just doesn't shut up. It's more annoying. It gets ya. And he goes deep, really quickly. He's ruthless. When he thinks something, he says it. - Wayne Simmonds

As a veteran of over 1000 games and one of the league's toughest customers, Simmonds knows a thing or two about good old fashioned chirping. His name came up as well, of course. The scary part about getting into a war of words with Simmonds is how quickly it can become a war of fists instead. Of all the players on the Leafs, Simmonds is the one guy who's bad side I's be avoiding.

Honourable mention goes to Mark Giordano as well, but he reportedly saves most of his best chirps for his teammates.
