The Toronto Maple Leafs lost 3-2 against the Vancouver Canucks on Saturday, and if you didn't know any better, you'd think the sky was falling. Fire Kyle Dubas, fire Sheldon Keefe and most importantly, trade William Nylander for Ben Chariot. I'm kidding of course. Take a breath, collect your thoughts and protect your inner peace and stay off of Twitter until things calm down a bit.

I'll level with you a little bit here though, the Leafs didn't start on time. In fact, they were outplayed in the first period. That was the last time the game was close. After the first period, the Leafs outshot the Canucks 41-13 in the last two periods. Thatcher Demko was playing out of his mind for the Canuks, stopping a career-high 51 shots and tying a Canucks franchise record in the process.

This is the first time since the Leafs started 2-4-1 in October that they have lost back to back games in regulation, Per TLN's David Alter:

We're a wild bunch in Leafs Nation, but sometimes it's important to take a breath. A team that loses back-to-back games once every four months is a team we should all believe in - especially if the loss isn't because we played a bad game.
