After a disappointing outing in Calgary on Thursday, the Leafs will be making some lineup adjustments ahead of tonight's game in Vancouver. The Leafs were forced to go with 11 forwards and 7 defenders on Thursday, due to Wayne Simmonds being given a short leave to be home with his family for the birth of his daughter. Simmer will be back in action for the Buds on Saturday.

Simmonds arrived in Vancouver to join the team late Friday night, and was elated to have gotten to share that important experience with his family, but now he's looking forward to getting back into the action after missing Thursday's game.

"I'm kind of riding a high right now. I'm looking forward to playing this game, for sure," said Simmonds ahead of his club's tilt with the Canucks.

Travis Dermott will be the Leaf who is coming out of the lineup, but he is expected to take warm-ups just in case another member of the team is unable to go, the Toronto Sun's Terry Koshan reported on Saturday afternoon.

It is believed that Ondrej Kase will be good to go after being pulled from Thursday's game, during which he took a THUNDEROUS hit from hulking Flames defender Nikita Zadorov. If Kase plays, Dermott will be in the press box.

Dermott actually took a few shifts on the wing against the Flames on Thursday.
