Matthew Knies and Joseph Woll have garnered most of the attention in regards to Toronto Maple Leafs prospects over the last few weeks for one reason or another. Knies is arguably their top prospect. He'll have the highest trade value, and that's important heading into the trade deadline. Woll, on the other hand has returned from injury, is playing fantastic hockey with the Toronto Marlies, and could be getting a call-up if Matt Murray's ankle injury becomes serious.

However, one name that can be lost in the loop is that of Fraser Minten. He's only 18 years old, was drafted near the top of the second round of the 2022 NHL Entry Draft, and has a long way to go to make real in-roads towards the NHL but he is lighting it up for the Kamloops Blazers and making it look easy.

Tonight, he scored his 23rd goal of the season, has 45 points in just 34 games, and has recorded 22 points in his last 15 games. He is coming off a season where he scored 20 goals and 55 points in 67 games and has shown a real knack for scoring goals in a variety of ways.

He has the shot, he has the moves, and he can also drive the net and score goals in the "dirty" areas. The sky's the limit for Minten, which is excellent news for the Leafs, who do not exactly have an abundance of natural centers in the pipeline.
