Marchand receives lengthy suspension for his punch/high-stick on Jarry
The NHL's Department of Player Safety has ruled on Boston Bruins winger Brad Marchand over his punch and intentional high-stick on Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Tristan Jarry.
Marchand has been suspended six games for his actions in the dying seconds of Tuesday night's game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Marchand was feeling extra chippy last night, having altercations with Sidney Crosby and Jarry on two separate occasions during the game.
The veteran pest has now been suspended 8 times in his NHL career.
