Massive hit gets Leafs winger Kyle Clifford ejected from Game 1
The Leafs will be playing with a shortened bench for the remaining 52 minutes of Game 1, after 4th line winger Kyle Clifford rocked Lightning forward Ross Colton with a nasty hit from behind.
Giving up a 5-minute power play in the first period is never a good idea, let alone giving one up to the Tampa Bay Lightning. Thankfully, the Leafs were able to kill off the full 5-minute power play and received a power play. Clifford owes the boys some crab linguine for sure.
