After such a promising start to the season, Matt Murray has struggled to find his game between the pipes for the Leafs of late. After allowing four goals on 29 shots last night in a losing effort against the Buffalo Sabres, the 28-year-old has now allowed four goals in each of his last five starts. To find his last quality start, you have to go back to a win against the Nashville Predators on January 11th.

Murray was activated off of LTIR on March 4th. Since that time, he has posted an abysmal .840 save percentage, to go along with a 4.04 goals against average. However, his recent struggles do not seem to be negatively effecting the net-minder's frame of mind. After last night's loss, Murray told the media he has been feeling better and better after each game, and that all he can do is continue to improve.

With the playoffs set to start in about one month's time, it is looking more and more likely that this will be Ilya Samsonov's net come Game 1.
