Don't look now, but the Toronto Maple Leafs have won 4 straight games and 5 of their last 6 to move to 10-5-2 on the season, thanks to a pair of wins in Stockholm, Sweden at the NHL's 2023 Global Series.

Sunday morning's win over the Minnesota Wild wasn't the prettiest win for the Leafs, but after blowing a 3-1 lead in the 3rd period and allowing the Wild to force overtime, William Nylander scored an absolute dandy of a goal on a tremendous individual effort, extending his goal streak to 5 games, tying a previous career best.

Nylander, playing in front of scores of his family and friends in Stockholm, blew the roof off of Avicii Arena with this one, and nobody was more pumped up than his father, former NHLer Michael Nylander.

Obviously a proud father moment here and something that both Michael and William to remember forever. Willy was an absolute beast for the Leafs in Sweden, coming home with 5 points in 2 games. The Leafs simply don't come home from Sweden with a pair of wins without Nylander, who also improved his season opening point streak to an incredible 17 games, tallying 1 goal and 1 assist to move to 27 points in those 17 games.
