The regular season for the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League isn't close to starting yet, but Quebec Remparts' Head Coach Patrick Roy is already in mid-season form. Late in the first period of a pre-season game, Roy lost it on officials and was subsequently ejected from the contest.

However, it wasn't a penalty that set him off, but a non-call on possible obstruction on the Rempart's Nathan Gaucher. With just 39 seconds left in the first period, Roy used some not-so-nice words to let referee Nicolas Dutil know how he felt about the missed call, which quickly led to his ejection.

Throughout his Hall of Fame career, Roy always found himself in the middle of disagreements with officials and players so it's no surprise that his coaching career has been the same. The Remparts would eventually win the game 6-3 over the Shawinigan Cataractes and as of right now, Roy is not facing any further discipline. Obviously, that can change - especially since it was a blow-up directed at an official. It wouldn't be shocking to hear that Roy had been slapped with a fine in the next day or so.
