The Maple Leafs are in Boston tonight to take on the Boston Bruins, who are once again off to a torrid 8-0-1 start. It also means that new Leaf Tyler Bertuzzi will have a chance to catch up with his former teammates. Bertuzzi was dealt from the Detroit Red Wings at last year's trade deadline where he skated in 21 regular season games and another 7 playoff games with the Bruins. Bertuzzi looked rejuvenated in Boston registered 16 points in his 21 regular season games and 10 points in the playoffs. Following practice yesterday, Bertuzzi was asked what he learned about Brad Marchand after being his teammate and some of it may not be what any fan that isn't a Bruins fan wants to hear.

"He's a good guy. He's just easy to get along with. He's funny, he's just he's a lot of fun to be around."

Bertuzzi was also asked if he had any inside information about ways to deal with Marchand's antics on the ice.

"I know he's full of shit now," said Bertuzzi, and added that Marchand will try something tonight but "it's all in good fun."

While Bertuzzi was hopeful to re-sign in Boston this past off-season, the Bruins were unable to find the cap space. It forced Bertuzzi to look elsewhere and the Leafs welcomed him with open arms on a 1-year deal. Through 9 games with the Leafs, Bertuzzi has two goals and three points to go along with 12 penalty minutes. He is still struggling to find his stride in the blue and white, but maybe giving Marchand a taste of his own medicine tonight will help.
