Big news regarding the Leafs as it is being reported that goaltender Petr Mrazek has indeed cleared waivers, so now we await the next move there.

Mrazek could be assigned to the AHL's Toronto Marlies for some goaltending insurance in the playoffs for the Leafs. The other option is that now that he has cleared, the Leafs can trade him and he will not have to clear waivers again if the receiving team wishes to send him to their AHL affiliate.

In addition, Harri Sateri, the Finnish netminder who was signed by the Leafs on Sunday, was claimed by the Arizona Coyotes. Sateri, 32, required re-entry waivers to be able to join the Leafs or the Marlies.

We now await the next steps for the Leafs. All indications are that the Buds will be very busy within the next hour.

Leafs forward Kyle Clifford has also cleared waivers and can be assigned to the AHL's Toronto Marlies.
