Boston Bruins captain Patrice Bergeron is an absolute warrior. He has shown a willingness to play through significant injuries during the postseason in the past and warriors don't change, man. On Sunday, Bergeron was clipped with a high stick by Canes forward Sebastian Aho that nearly took his eye out.

Despite leaking blood from his eye, Bergeron did not want to come out of the game, trying to use a towel to put pressure on the wound on the Bruins bench, however the official would not allow it, sending Bergeron to the back to get stitched up near the end of the second period.

Surprising absolutely no one, Bergeron was of course back on the ice to start the third period, sporting his newest battle scar, an L-shaped cut about half an inch away from his right eye.

You want to talk about heart, look no further than Patrice Bergeron. The Bruins ended up skating away with a 5-2 victory to tie the series up at 2-2, sending it back to Raleigh, NC for Game 5 on Tuesday night. Bergeron had 3 points in the home win.
