NHL veteran and Toronto, Ontario native P.K. Subban still does not have a contract midway through September, much to the surprise of the hockey world. Subban is just 33 years of age and still has plenty of gas left in the tank, but for one reason or another (likely mostly financial), a deal is yet to be finalized and Subban remains a UFA.

One reporter who has been attempting to get ahold of Subban all summer long is the Toronto Sun's Steve Simmons. Despite countless attempts to make contact, Subban appears to have no interest in speaking with the polarizing Toronto media member, completely ghosting him despite confirmation from a number of individuals that Subban would reach out to him.

Simmons has had a penchant for rubbing players the wrong way - and apparently it's not just Leafs players. Simmons' irresponsible reporting famously infuriated Phil Kessel and, most recently, Auston Matthews.
