Not only were the Leafs all over the Pens in this one, but in the 3rd period, the fans actually began taunting Dubas with a series of "DUUUUBAS" chants, disrespecting the ex-Leafs GM, who actually left the game early with AGM Jason Spezza.
Following the display from the fans at Scotiabank Arena, Paul "Biz Nasty" Bissonnette actually took to social media to lay into Leaf fans in a now-deleted post, calling the fans in Toronto "classless" for their chanting.
Dubas is a big boy. I'm sure he's not going to lose any sleep over what fans of his former team do or say while he's back home in Pittsburgh sleeping on his enormous pile of money. I do, however, believe that Dubas gave it everything he had in Toronto.
Bissonnette, a noted Leafs fan, was always an open supporter of Kyle Dubas, so it's not a shock to see him stand up for the ex-Leafs GM like this. Sure, it might have been in poor taste to call the fans clowns for taunting an executive from a rival team, which is probably why he deleted the post, but I'm sure Dubas was beat up enough by the loss and could have done without the chanting.
