The Nashville Predators remain focused on their hunt for a playoff berth as they are in Tampa Bay to take on the defending Stanley Cup Champions on Saturday.

The game as a whole has not been going well for Nashville, who are down by a pair of goals in the second period, but there is a bit of a silver-lining for the Preds, as captain Roman Josi notched his 21st goal of the season. The point was an important one for Josi, as it was his 90th of the season.

Not since Raymond Bourque in the 1993-94 season has another NHL defenseman reached the 90-point plateau. The feat is an impressive one, as only 25 times over the NHL's storied history has a defender hit 90 points prior to Josi becoming the 26th. Cale Makar could be #27 before the 2021-22 season is in the books.

With his 90th point, Roman Josi joins some elite company, alongside players like Bobby Orr, Paul Coffey, Al MacInnis and the aforementioned Ray Bourque, among others.

Josi is the current frontrunner for the Norris Trophy and has also found himself in the hunt for a Hart Trophy as well. Congrats to the Preds captain on an impressive feat.
