Report: Panthers spotted partying at a Tampa Bay strip club until 3am the night before Game 4
After another loss in Game 3 and on the verge of being swept, a Tampa Bay radio station has reported that multiple Panthers players were seen out late partying until 3am at a local strip club. Take this with a grain of salt given that it has come from a Tampa Bay radio station, but they are very insistent that the information is reliable.
If this is true this will either be the turning point of the series where the Panthers players play so guilty they dominate they come back and win the series or Tampa beats the wheels off them more in Game 4 than they have already. To say it's an interesting way to regroup after another loss and being on the verge of being swept is an understatement, but at this point, the team has to try anything and everything to get back into the series. We saw it in Game 5 after Nylander's horrible forecheck attempt made him play guilty and have one of his best playoff games in recent memory. Maybe that's what the Panthers are hoping for with an entire team going out?
It will be interesting to hear what the Panthers have to say with the news of this report and how they play. On the verge of being swept after winning the President's Trophy, it would certainly be a unique way to change momentum or have the series end.
