South African pro golfer drains a birdie putt at the Canadian Open in a Leafs jersey

The RBC Canadian Open got under way on Thursday at St. George's Golf Course and Country Club in Etobicoke, just West of Toronto. I know.. I know.. insert Leafs golfing in June jokes here. There were no Leafs golfing in the RBC Canadian Open, we did see a Leafs jersey out on the course, worn by South African PGA Tour golfer Dylan Frittelli on Friday, might to the delight of the Leafs fans in attendance.

Frittelli wound up on the daily highlight reel donning the blue and white as well, after hitting a beautiful tee shot on a par 3 and draining a birdie putt to move to +2 on the tournament. He finished his day on Friday at +1 for the tourney.

I think Frittelli may have earned himself more than a few new fans with his choice of attire on Friday!
