Never one to mince words, new Flyers' Head Coach John Tortorella is known for calling out players if they aren't performing - just ask Patrik Laine. However, Tortorella is taking it a step further this year, calling out the entire Flyers' lineup.

On SiriusXM today Tortorella was discussing changes and concerns that he plans to address once he joins the Flyers and training camp begins. During the chat, Tortorella was quick to point out that the Flyers' have some major issues within the dressing room saying;

"I have major concerns about what goes on in there. Before we even step on the ice, situations and standards and accountability in the room is at the forefront."

It's clear from what Tortorella has heard through the grapevine that the Flyers' lack of success stems from players doing what they want without being held accountable for things that could hinder individual and team performance. Being one of the few remaining "hard-nosed" coaches, Tortorella will be sure that camp starts with intensity and a lesson in accountability. Part of what goes into that is being able to get the players to work together and ensure their leadership group sets an example for their younger players.

With long-time locker room voice and former captain Claude Giroux now in Ottawa, Tortorella will have to find a new voice that is respected and can help hold players accountable. I don't know about you, but I wish I could be a fly on the wall the first time Torts addresses the team at camp. It's sure to be an explosive conversation.
