The Toronto Maple Leafs are dealing with their first two game losing streak of the season and first major injury to a star since Auston Matthews missed the start of the season.
Mitch Marner is sidelined and it sounds like he might be sidelined awhile.
NHL insider Darren Dreger reports that Marner won't be expected back in the coming games.
Dreger mentions that not only will Marner miss another week, but he'll likely miss another two weeks.
The injury stems from a collision at practice between Marner and Jake Muzzin. Marner was seen arguing with Muzzin after the incident.
The 24 year old has 21 points in 24 games so far this season.
