Last night, the Vegas Golden Knights were crowned the champions of the NHL after taking down the Florida Panthers via a gentlemen's sweep. Captain, Mark Stone scored a hat-trick, the Knights were up 6-1 heading into the final 20 minutes, Jonathan Marchessault won the Conn Smythe as the playoff MVP, and Jack Eichel led the circuit with 20 assists and 26 points.

As is the case with every winning team and city, a parade is in the works, and it looks like the Golden Knights will be having a big one. It is scheduled to be at night, on top of the fact that they are shutting down the entire Las Vegas Boulevard for their beloved Golden Knights.

The Golden Knights winning the Stanley Cup is great news for hockey as Vegas is slowly becoming a sports city. The Las Vegas Raiders came into play in 2020, the Las Vegas Aces have been around since 2018, and the Oakland Athletics could possibly be moving to Vegas sometime in the near future.

It is believed to start at 7 PM on Saturday and although the official route has not been announced, it could follow the Aces championship parade that started at Caesars Palace Drive and ended in front of the Bellagio Fountain.
