Auston Matthews has extended his Leafs' single season goals record on Tuesday night in style, sneaking out against weaker competition on the Leafs' 4th line to do THIS to Red Wings goaltender Alex Nedeljkovic:
The goal put Matthews at 59 tallies on the season, just 1 goal away from that elusive 60-goal mark. He didn't have to wait long to snipe home number 60!
The capacity crowd at Scotiabank Arena celebrated in style, chanting "MVP" for Matthews, who is now officially the first 60-goal scorer since Steven Stamkos reached the mark a decade ago in the 2011-12 season.
